How to Use Quotex Bot — Complete Beginner Tutorial

What You Need Before Starting

• Google Chrome browser (any recent version)
• A Quotex or QXBroker account (free demo works)
• 5 minutes of setup time

Step 1: Install Quotex Bot Chrome Extension

Open your Chrome browser and visit the Chrome Web Store. Search for "Quotex Bot" or use the direct install link below.

Click Add to Chrome → then click Add Extension in the popup. The bot installs in seconds.

After installation, you'll see the 🤖 robot icon in your Chrome toolbar. If it's hidden, click the puzzle piece icon (🧩) and pin Quotex Bot to make it always visible.

Step 2: Open Quotex Demo Account

Go to qxbroker.com/en/demo-trade in Chrome. If you don't have an account, register for free — no deposit required for demo.

Click the 🤖 Quotex Bot icon in your toolbar. The bot sidebar will open on the right side of your browser, showing all the controls.

Step 3: Choose Your Strategy

In the sidebar you'll see four preset strategy buttons:

• 🟢 Conservative (Low Risk) — Best for beginners. Uses 1,2,4,8 amounts with 4-step sequence
• 🟡 Balanced (Medium Risk) — Most popular. Uses 1,2,4,8,17,35,73,151 with 8-step sequence
• 🔴 Aggressive (High Risk) — Uses triple-up amounts for faster recovery
• ⚡ Turbo (Very High Risk) — Extreme multiplier for large accounts only

For your first time, click Conservative. This will auto-fill the Trading Sequence and Investment Amounts fields.

Step 4: Set Time Interval

Select how long each trade lasts from the Time Interval dropdown. For demo trading, we recommend starting with 5 seconds or 30 seconds — shorter intervals mean faster feedback on how the bot performs.

Step 5: Optional — Set Risk Management

Before starting, you can optionally set auto-stop conditions:

• Check 🎯 Take profit at and enter an amount (e.g. $50) — bot stops when you hit this profit
• Check 🛑 Stop loss at and enter an amount (e.g. $20) — bot stops when you lose this much
• Check ⏰ Stop after and enter minutes (e.g. 30) — bot stops after this time

These are optional but highly recommended, especially when starting out.

Step 6: Click Start Trading!

Click the big green Start Trading button. The bot will immediately:

• Set the time interval on the Quotex page
• Set the investment amount
• Click the UP or DOWN button according to your sequence
• Wait for the trade result
• Adjust the next investment amount (advance on loss, reset on win)
• Repeat the process automatically

You'll see the live stats bar appear on the Quotex page showing Profit, Loss, Net, and Trade count in real time.

Step 7: Monitor and Learn

Watch your first session carefully. Notice how the bot:

• Advances the investment amount after a loss
• Resets to the first amount after a win
• Follows your direction sequence consistently
• Updates stats in real time after every trade

Upgrading to Live Trading

Once you're confident with demo results, you can upgrade to live trading. Click the Subscribe button in the sidebar to get the $20/month Gumroad subscription. Use the same email in the extension to verify your subscription automatically.

Common Questions from Beginners

The bot placed a trade in the wrong direction — is that normal?

Yes! The bot follows a fixed direction sequence (e.g. up, down, up, down) regardless of market conditions. The martingale strategy relies on money management, not direction prediction.

The bot seems slow — what should I do?

Make sure your internet connection is stable. The bot waits for each trade to close before placing the next one. Shorter time intervals (5-10s) will feel faster.

I see "Could not find trading buttons" error

This means you're not on the Quotex trading page, or the page hasn't fully loaded. Refresh the page and make sure you're on the demo-trade or live trading page.
